Mr. Teleis assumed this position in October, 2000 and is responsible for management of the non-judicial aspects of the court, including  case management, finance, human resources and court technology.  

Mr. Teleis is an attorney and a 1993 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Gannon University in Erie, PA.  Prior to taking over as court manager, Teleis worked in the claims department for a major national insurance company and had his own computer consulting business.  He also formerly practiced law in the Akron area and has argued before the Ohio Supreme Court..

In addition to a law degree, Teleis has been awarded the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from the American Institute for CPCU, and the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
